I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience providing trauma-informed care. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in a deep respect for your inner wisdom. I believe that therapy is not just about managing symptoms, but about reclaiming a sense of wholeness, connection, and—most importantly—joy.
The name of my practice, Bring Joy Home LLC, is deeply personal. My approach has been profoundly shaped by both my clinical background and a transformative psychedelic journey that reshaped how I view the world.
It was through this journey that I truly understood the importance of experiencing pure joy. It helped me identify and feel that joy in my own heart, my work, and my family. This experience offered me a profound sense of peace regarding the "here and now," validating my path as a therapist, mother, wife, and community member.
My personal growth deepened my understanding of our global interconnectedness and reinforced a core belief that guides my work, best summed up by my friend Natanya Joy Mallin's words: "relationships are the only pieces of life to take with you, so you must cherish each one like you’ve never had that moment previously." Natanya was one of my best friends who passed away from cancer when we were 27. Her wisdom and her life continue to be a North Star for me. This realization allows me to sit with you not just as a clinician, but as a fellow traveler who understands that the quality of our connections—to ourselves, to those we’ve lost, and to those still with us—defines the quality of our lives.
I specialize in meeting you exactly where you are—whether you are navigating the echoes of trauma, the weight of anxiety, or the disorientation of a major life transition. My background as a regional crisis therapist and clinical supervisor allows me to sit with intensity and complexity while helping you feel safe, regulated, and empowered in the process.
In addition to traditional therapy, I offer preparation and integration support for those curious about expanded states of consciousness. I also facilitate psilocybin journeys at a healing center in Durango, Colorado. My work in this area is grounded in ethics and clinical care, with a focus on helping you translate "big" experiences into meaningful, lasting change so that you, too, can bring joy home.
My goal is to provide a space where all parts of you are welcome—where healing can unfold at your own pace. Together, we can move from simply "getting through" life to feeling more connected, purposeful, and whole.
